Very nice stay.
Good location. Friendly, helpful staff that were able talk English with us. Comfortable bed and nice big rooms with large bathroom tubs for hot spring soaking. Good buffet breakfast with lots of choices.
The top floor spa was not open in the mornings.

What was the highlight of Tian Long Hotel
Very near to the train / 7-Eleven (10 min.
Very near to the train / 7-Eleven (10 min.), coach station (5 min.) and down town (10 min.) by walk. Very helpful and informative staffs. Breakfast was not bad (if you like traditional Taiwan food) but average. Two big single bed into one double bed (over 1.8 m wide). Good spa facilities at the top roof (but it operated from 4pm to 11pm only) with good view.
The room has only 1 window facing the the wall and air conditioning system main unit with huge noise. You must close the door and turn on the air conditioner for all day long. Stale air in the room. It took 30 mins. to remove by air conditioner. Shower room facilities were old and toilet water were noisy (poor sound isolaton door). Poor lightning in the shower room. The water ran very slow. It takes 15 min. to fill 1/4 spa bath. Pillow cover and bed sheet were not soft. The wardrobe with glass door was very fragile and not safe for kids. The door lock were not secure. Not cheap (US$ 80 per day on weekend on Feb. after Chinese New Year ) for a room in 20 sq M and it should improve the essential key service areas like room lighting, facility maintenance, noise isolation and indoor air condition.

The in-room spa tub was great.
The in-room spa tub was great. The bed was large but a bit firmer than my liking. The breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection. Great location next to a park and a short walk from the train station. The rooftop pools looked nice but I did not have time to try them. Friendly staff.
The coffee machine did not make great coffee. WiFI was spotty at times. A bit pricer than other hotels in the area. Small window in the room faced another building so no good views to enjoy.
